It can’t be an easy time to be a Houston Rockets fan. If the season ended today, the Rockets would have the worst record in the NBA.
It would be the third time in a row that they finished 30th. That’s never happened in NBA history.
It wasn’t always this way. The Rockets are a proud organization. This team won back-to-back championships in the 90s. You don’t have to go back that far to find good Rockets teams either – the Harden era was a rousing success.
Still, there’s hope for the future. With that said, the Rockets need to get aggressive this summer. They owe their next first-round pick to the Oklahoma City Thunder with top-4 protection.
If they don’t land a top-2 pick in the upcoming draft, they may want to take drastic measures.
Like this trade to acquire Brandon Ingram from the New Orleans Pelicans, for example.
