Why The Los Angeles Clippers Do The Deal 

For both of these teams, this deal only makes sense if they’ve failed to make a deep playoff run. 

It’s hard to say how the Clippers’ season will shake out. This team relies on George and Kawhi Leonard to a huge degree. Unfortunately, both wings are very injury prone. 

If they don’t make, at the very least, a Conference Finals appearance, the Clippers may do something drastic. Trading either of their star wings won’t be off the table. 

Why not get a star point guard? Murray may not be as impactful as George, but he’s considerably younger.

He’s also an ace shot-creating guard who can generate offense out of thin air.
