Most of us just want an opportunity. NBA players are no exception. Some guys come into the league and struggle to find playing time. That isn’t always a reflection of their ability.
Sometimes, they’ve simply landed in a situation that isn’t a good opportunity for them.
On the other hand, we should be careful what we wish for. If you get an opportunity, and you don’t make good use of it, you may not get another one. At the same time – you’ve got to take the opportunity.
For example, look at Moses Moody of the Golden State Warriors. He’s struggled to find time with this contending organization.
On the other hand, Rui Hachimura of the Los Angeles Lakers has had opportunities.
