At this point, nobody could be surprised if either of these teams made massive deals this summer. If they were, they could not have been paying attention. 

The Nets were the talk of the league at this year’s deadline. Nobody changed the NBA’s landscape like they did. Arguably, they had the most significant deadline in NBA history. 

You couldn’t make that case for the Lakers. Still, they made huge changes. This is a completely different roster than the one they entered the year with. 

We’re talking about two huge market teams with huge expectations.
