Life is nothing more than risk, and reward. NBA teams need to take risks too.

You don’t have to take risks. Just know that if you don’t, you’ll be leaving rewards on the table. That doesn’t mean you’ve got to be a daredevil, either. 

Sometimes they work out, and other times they don’t. Still, if nothing is ventured, nothing is gained. 

At this point, any team acquiring Ben Simmons of the Brooklyn Nets is taking a risk. The same holds true for Lonzo Ball of the Chicago Bulls.

For one reason or another, each player is a volatile asset at this point.
