Why The Los Angeles Lakers Do The Deal 

We keep hearing that the Lakers won’t trade these picks. It would be highly disappointing if that were true. 

After all, this team has LeBron James miraculously giving them a prime-level performance at 38. They’re wasting him. The Lakers need to improve this roster at any cost. 

This deal would improve it significantly. Bogdanovic is the highlight. He’s a shot-creating wing who doubles as an elite floor spacer when James has the ball. 

At the same time, Burks could be described similarly, and he’s a solid playmaker and defender as well. Meanwhile, Noel is a strong backup big who could even start if the Lakers wanted to go big.

All told, the Lakers can’t afford to cling to their draft capital if this deal is on the table.
