The Miami Heat have long subscribed to that notion. This team is usually stacked with quality defensive players. That’s true now, but Herro is something of an exception. 

In fact, he’s a bit of a defensive liability. That’s not true of Anunoby – he’s one of the best defenders in the NBA. Given his two-way prowess, this deal would be an upgrade for this roster. 

Meanwhile, Anunoby could fill a hole in this team’s frontcourt. As of now, they could use a starter at the 4 spot.
