There are indeed times when a more drastic change is required. 

In the case of a business that is breaking even, even a small change could be enough to help you turn a profit. Alternatively, if your business is losing money at an alarming rate, it may be necessary to make a more drastic change – such as closing its doors. 

I believe that there will be many who will argue that the Lakers need a more significant change than this one. Okay, that’s fair enough. Despite that, their front office seems to be reluctant to take the steps that would need to be taken to make one happen. 

Moreover, some would argue that there is also a need for a more significant shake-up within the Mavericks organization.

Even though they’re having a better season than the Lakers, they still need to find a secondary ballhandler who matches Luka Doncic’s game to succeed. 

In light of this, why would they trade Dinwiddie in the first place?
