Why The Los Angeles Lakers Do The Deal
There is no doubt that Kyrie Irving is one of the least predictable players in the NBA. Whenever he lands, it seems like he will create a problem no matter where he goes.
On the other hand, he has never been as consistent as he was when he was playing alongside LeBron James since then. As a matter of fact, we know these two are capable of working together – after all, they won a title together in the NBA.
Why couldn’t they do it again? The trade value of Irving has been depreciated as a result of his off-court antics instead of his skill level on the court. There is a possibility that this could work out in everyone’s best interest if James is able to lead him in some special way.
As a matter of fact, when the duo won their title, they didn’t have Anthony Davis in their corner. In my opinion, he would be the best defensive big they have ever played with – and the best offensive big as well.

In my opinion, Irving would be a much better fit alongside James than Westbrook: It is entirely possible that James has been imagining this situation for a very long time at this point.
