Absolutely. Despite being a sophomore, Hyland has been compared to Steph Curry. While we don’t think he will reach Curry’s level of excellence, he certainly has the potential to do well.

In the meantime, he is a young player who has the potential to be a great player in the future.

There are several things that stand out about Hyland, not the least of which is his ability to shoot threes off the dribble. That’s something special. Hyland is shooting 38% from three this season.

Having said that, the number is even more impressive than it might appear. After all, Hyland is routinely carrying this team’s second unit, and with all the attention that he receives on defense, those shots are coming on a high level of difficulty.
