Why The Golden State Warriors Do The Deal

The Bulls haven’t been the only disappointing team in 2022-23. The Warriors were far short of expectations as well, but they’ve positioned themselves inside the playoff picture lately.

It’s still different. This is a team that won last season’s NBA championship. By contrast, the Bulls lost in the first round of the 2021-22 playoffs. The Warriors are probably merely a piece away.

That piece could be Caruso. In fact, his game is quite similar to that of Gary Payton III, who the Warriors had great success with last season. Caruso is even better. He’s a more reliable floor spacer and a more capable ball-handler.

Coupled with his boundless energy, he could be the perfect addition to this Warriors squad. If nothing else, he’ll give them a needed burst of energy.
