Wrong. The truth is, Turner is extremely valuable. The Pacers have made him available for a long time for a series of reasons, and in all likelihood, they never got an offer that was equal to his value. 

For a long time, he struggled to co-exist with Domantas Sabonis. By the time the Pacers traded Sabonis, Turner was a little off their rebuilding timeline.

By now, he’s in a contract year, and the Pacers may not opt to retain him.
