For a long time, NBA Analysis Network has been saying the same thing about the Los Angeles Lakers – this team needs to make a change.
Apparently, their front office was listening. The Lakers just acquitted Rui Hachimura from the Washington Wizards at the cost of Kendrick Nunn and three second-round picks.
It’s an interesting acquisition. On the one hand, Hachimura still has potential, and the Lakers needed an athletic wing. On the other hand, he’s a poor floor spacer and defender.
It’s a move that looks a lot better if it’s not the only move they make.
If the Lakers could acquire a dynamic scoring guard, for example, they may be in a better position for the second half of the 2022-23 season.
Would Jordan Clarkson suffice?
