Some veteran players on the Hornets could command interest from teams around the NBA. The focus for their team should be to capitalize on a rebuilding year by adding whatever assets they can ahead of the 2023 NBA Draft.

The Charlotte Hornets are an organization that many across the league are keeping an eye on as a potential seller as the trade deadline nears. Guard Terry Rozier, center Mason Plumlee and forwards Jalen McDaniels and Kelly Oubre Jr. are among the players expected to receive interest in potential deals.
Rozier is averaging 20.8 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 5.3 assists through 35 appearances this season. His efficiency still leaves plenty to be desired, as he’s shooting just 41.2 percent from the floor and 32.4 percent from 3-point range. However, in a more fitting role with more naturally efficient responsibilities, there’s a lot to like.

He was signed to be an instrumental part of the Hornets but has struggled to stay healthy for much of his tenure. It would be challenging to find a suitor, given he still has another season remaining on his four-year, $120 million contract.
