Why The Oklahoma City Thunder Do The Deal 

This is likely not what Thunder GM Sam Presti envisioned heading into 2022-23.

After all, this team was supposed to be tanking for Victor Wembanyama. Now, they’re a little behind the league’s worst teams. Of course, they could start sitting Shai Gilgeous-Alexander with mysterious injuries. 

On the other hand, they could pivot. It could be winning time in Oklahoma City. If so, Brown would be a perfect addition. He’s a great two-way wing who can create his own shot at will. 

It’s worth remembering that the Thunder already have a blue chip prospect incoming next season.
