The Golden State Warriors are coming off a successful NBA title run, but they could use some help at the trade deadline in order to defend it.

Stephen Curry is relied on significantly to set the tone for the Warriors’ offense. His shooting gravity is instrumental in putting the defense out of rotation to create needed advantages for his teammates. What if he had more of a creator on the wing?

One option that could be an intriguing option for the Warriors to pursue is DeMar DeRozan. He is an established veteran with the ability to score with great efficiency running high ball screens, out of the post, and breaking a defender down in isolation among many other methods.

With DeRozan’s effectiveness as a shot-creator inside the 3-point line, he could provide the Warriors with another layer of attack to complement Curry.

The Chicago Bulls aren’t only just struggling to be one of the top teams in the Eastern Conference this season; they appear to have no outlook to contend altogether. A trade involving key names could make sense to reshuffle the roster.
