For Davis, Bamba can be a fill-in when he’s injured. Moreover, they’re a good fit when he’s healthy. With Bamba protecting the rim, Davis should feast as a free safety on defense.
For Westbrook, this is about pairing him with a stretch big. Bamba may not be a lethal three-point shooter, but he is a credible threat from outside.
