Myles Turner is a popular target for any contender without a star big man. That’s because his game fits into almost any system. 

After all, Turner is the rare big man who spaces the floor and protects the rim. He’s an extremely malleable player. With that said, the Nets could have a particular use for him. 

That’s because they roster Ben Simmons. To maximize him as a ball-handler, a team needs four-out spacing. With Nic Claxton in the middle, the Nets aren’t really able to provide that for Simmons. 

Turner would help them do so. If the Indiana Pacers are interested in moving him, the Nets have to make an offer. If needs to be more aggressive than this one, so be it.
