At 16-17, the Heat have had a disappointing season. Still, it doesn’t feel like they’ve gone too far to turn back. The goal of winning a title still remains, too.

By contrast, the 9-24 Hornets are simply too forgone to salvage their season. 

It has been an issue for the Heat for a while now that a lack of offensive firepower has limited their ability to succeed in the half-court. Terry Rozier could help and it might be the right move for the Hornets to make.
