Lonzo Ball is an injury-prone player. When healthy, he’s also a highly impactful one. It also just so happens that he’d be a perfect fit on the rebuilding Houston Rockets.
Ball is a connector in the half-court for an offense, and his vastly improved 3-point shooting has only enhanced his ability to be that. Alongside a talent like Jalen Green, it could be an intriguing way to focus their attack around a clear identity.
Perhaps the most intriguing way that Ball could make an impact alongside the Rockets’ core players would be with his defensive impact. He has great size for a point guard and is a productive contributor on that end of the floor.
