That’s because Bradley Beal and Zach LaVine provide very similar values. LaVine is a few years younger, so we’ve got the Chicago Bulls receiving an extra pick swap here.
They’d do well to accept it. Like the Wizards, the Bulls have been very disappointing in 2022-23. That’s probably why they’re heavily rumored to be considering blowing up this core.
If they chose to, this is a good way to go about it. Quickley is an intriguing young player with self-creation abilities and solid point-of-attack defense.
Adding him along with three first-rounders and a swap gets the Bulls back on the right track.

With that said, if the Knicks rejected one of these deals, they’d probably reject both. Presumably, they’d do so if they weren’t interested in adding a scoring guard. In that event, they may like this next deal.
