Why The Dallas Mavericks Do The Deal
The Mavericks need a secondary ball-handler. We know this. Surely, they don’t think Walker is the answer, right?
Don’t get us wrong. Walker has been surprisingly effective in Dallas so far. It still feels like the Mavericks need to make a much bigger splash if they’re going to be serious title contenders.

Frankly, phoning it in. Walker was recently signed, so he can’t be traded until near the February deadline, anyway.
