The Pistons landed Bogdanovic in an effort to become a winning team. It didn’t work. Now, they might as well function as a rebuilding one. 

Of course, some would suggest that means holding onto Bey. After all, he’s still young and has room to grow. With that said, that’s also true of Jaden Hardy. 

In fact, he’s younger. Meanwhile, he’s struggling to find minutes on a contending Mavericks squad – but he’s on absolute fire in the G-League.

Hardy was once regarded as a potential lottery pick, and we’re starting to see why.

Add a first-round pick, and this deal should at least tempt the Pistons. It won’t help them in 2022-23, but years from now, they could be glad they made it.
