When the Clippers built this team, they built it around Kawhi Leonard. They must have known there was some risk in this decision. 

After all, Leonard is routinely injured. This season has been no exception. Unfortunately, the Clippers struggle to win games when he’s sidelined – and when he has been healthy, he hasn’t looked the same. 

That’s what’s especially concerning. If the Clippers are going to contend for the NBA title, Leonard needs to return to his former self. With that said, adding another playmaker to this team could allow him the rest he needs to do so.
