DeRozan isn’t an intuitively obvious fit with this Kings roster. At the same time, neither was Sabonis. 

Perhaps that owes to coaching. Alternatively, maybe talent just wins out in the end. Either way, it suddenly feels as if these Kings could afford to add a player like DeRozan. 

He’d certainly boost their playmaking. Following this deal, the Kings would have three players who command a double team on a nightly basis.

Of course, opposing teams would only have 5 defenders on the court. One of DeRozan, Fox, or Sabonis would enjoy single coverage.

Meanwhile, the collective passing of that trio should be a joy to watch. It’s rare to assemble a trio of stars who all excel in that facet of the game. This offense would be unpredictable, and for that reason, highly effective.
