They don’t need to worry about bringing Rose on board. If he’s dissatisfied with his playing time in New York, it’s because the Knicks brought Jalen Brunson in this summer. The Mavericks, of course, lost Brunson.
That means they have a vacancy for Rose. We’re not necessarily saying Rose is a better player than Spencer Dinwiddie – it’s close. We are saying he’s a better fit alongside Luka Doncic.
That’s because Rose is a better shooter. The veteran floor general would provide Dallas with another much-needed secondary ball-handler, and a floor spacer to benefit Doncic. He feels like the perfect addition to this team.
