Why The Miami Heat Do The Deal 

Obviously, the Heat don’t do this deal for White. They’re effectively flipping Herro for LaVine. 

At the same time, White still has potential. He may never achieve stardom, but plus positional size and an array of offensive moves still give him the opportunity to make something of himself in this league. He may even benefit from a change of scenery. 

Still, this is about LaVine for the Heat. This group is having a disappointing season, but they still have ample talent. An injection of offense could be what they need to turn this season around. 

As talented as Herro is, make no mistake – LaVine is better. For starters, he’s a much more impressive athlete.
