It feels like a decidedly simple one. Over the last couple of years, the Bulls have gone about acquiring the best offensive players they could. It seems that the plan has always been to simply outscore opposing teams.
This year, it’s not working. At 9-11, the Bulls are far behind the mark they were hoping to be at by now. It’s fair to question whether this plan is really working at all.
Perhaps the Bulls needed to focus more on defense in their roster construction. It’s also possible that their offensive players simply don’t complement each other.
