Why The Utah Jazz Do The Deal 

Frankly, the Jazz don’t do this deal for the sake of adding Fournier. 

At the same time, let it be said that this young team could use his veteran mentorship. Fournier has been around this league and has seen a lot.

Still, that’s not the main reason the Jazz make this trade. 

They’re doing it for the draft capital. Some will thumb their noses at second-round picks. Granted, they’re not as valuable as first-rounders, but we wouldn’t dismiss them either.
