Why The Chicago Bulls Do The Deal 

Some Bulls fans will argue that the Bulls can’t afford to do this deal. In fairness, they will have a point. 

After all, the Orlando Magic own their pick in the upcoming draft. Gifting them a lottery selection would sting, especially when this class looks so historic. What’s the point of tanking if they can’t take advantage of it? 

Well, the hype around the current class is enormous, and deservingly so. At the same time, every draft will bring in its share of potential stars. The Bulls can focus on rebuilding through the next series of drafts.

Following this deal, they’d have a lot more draft capital to do it with.

Moreover, they’d be adding Green to a team that does feature some talented young players like Patrick Williams, Ayo Dosunmu, and Lonzo Ball.
