Why The Brooklyn Nets Do The Deal 

The Nets are one of the few teams in the NBA with a zero percent chance of drafting Wembanyama. 

 After all, they owe swap rights in the fist-round to the Houston Rockets this season. Even if the Nets landed the top choice, they’d be handing it to them. 

Of course, the Rockets are among the worst teams in the NBA as well. The Nets could tank the season and still end up with great odds of landing one of those other prospects.

At the same time, that sounds like a lot of work with Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, and Ben Simmons on the roster.
