Why The Cleveland Cavaliers Do The Deal 

This isn’t a no-brainer for the Cavs. In fact, it’s an upside swing. 

After all, what they really need from a wing is 3-and-D abilities. Bey is a solid defender, but his three-point percentage has been subpar in 2022-23. 

On the other hand, imagine if he turns it around. In that event, Bey will be a 3-and-D wing who also offers plenty of shot creation. Adding him could be a huge bonus for the Cavaliers in that event. 

It also allows them to move Caris LeVert into a sixth-man role.
