Nobody needs to tell the Sacramento Kings about big moves. 

At last year’s trade deadline, they made a massive one. The Kings sent Tyrese Haliburton in exchange for Domantas Sabonis around the trade deadline. 

That officially signified their shift into win-now mode. So far, the results are mixed. At 10-6, the Kings have been competitive this season.

Still, they’d surely like to secure better playoff odds than the ones they have now. 

After all, that wasn’t the only win-now decision the Kings have made recently. When they opted to draft Keegan Murray with the fourth overall pick, it surprised many.

Jaden Ivey was seen as the better prospect, but Murray was the better fit for their team.
