That’s the situation with Jae Crowder in Phoenix. He was their starting 4 for a long time, but eventually, they gave the position to Cameron Johnson. As a result, Crowder has requested a trade. 

Johnson is now hurt. Many may have assumed that would mean Crowder would be willing to slide back into his starting role. He was not.
