Sometimes, their value hits a high. It may fall. Much like a stock, or cryptocurrency, their value hinges on their performance. 

As it stands, D’Angelo Russell’s value has hit an all-time low. His performance in 2022-23 has been very disappointing – as have his Minnesota Timberwolves.

The Wolves will need to make some changes if they want to turn this season around. One of those changes could be trading Russell.

However, receiving substantial value for Russell in exchange may be challenging. He is playing poorly to start the season and is on an expiring contract.
