At some time, everybody needs to learn a lesson. They can learn it now or later. NBA front offices are no different.

It’s already too late for the Los Angeles Lakers to do so. At 2-8, they’re already the victim of their mistakes. Now, they’re left with limited options as far as improving this team.
They could trade Anthony Davis. That’s an option. It’s not necessarily a desirable one. Given his recent injury history, the Lakers may not get fair value for him.
