Ralph Sampson and Hakeem Olajuwon. David Robinson and Tim Duncan. Andrew Bynum and Mark Gasol. These frontcourt duos were all dominant.

Overwhelming opponents with size was the preferred strategy for contenders for much of the league’s history.
