Why The Golden State Warriors Do The Deal 

By contrast, Embiid’s fit alongside Steph Curry feels a lot cleaner on paper. 

After all, Curry may be the best off-ball player of all time. Embiid’s isolation tendencies shouldn’t be a problem in Golden State. As a matter of fact, they could do wonders for this offense. 

This pairing would put opposing defenses in a serious dilemma. You can’t double-team Embiid on the block with the Splash Brothers on the perimeter.

Yet, nobody can contain Embiid straight up. Pairing him with elite catch-and-shoot players should maximize his abilities more than pairing him with an elite on-ball playmaker.
