Once again, we’ve got the Nets selling low. Yes, that’s unfortunate. It’s also reality. The Nets roster a number of players whose value aren’t likely to be equal to their abilities. 

Ben Simmons is one of them. Meanwhile, his fit on the Houston Rockets could be interesting. In lineups featuring Jabari Smith Jr. at the 5, it could be lethal. In any event, the woeful Rockets need a floor general, and for all of his flaws, Simmons is one. 

Meanwhile, the Nets could use each of the players they’re receiving here. Gordon is a seasoned veteran in this league – his ability to space the floor and create his own shot will be a perfect compliment to the Nets’ starts. Furthermore, both Tate and Martin are high-energy wings that add defensive value.
