Building an NBA team is a lot like putting together a puzzle.
The pieces have to fit. At the same time, some pieces fit more easily than others. For example, some pieces are extremely rare and valuable, but will only fit into certain puzzles.
By contrast, some pieces are relatively easy to find, but they’ll fit in anywhere. They may not be the most valuable pieces in your puzzle, but to complete it, you’ll still need them.
For example, look at 3-and-D forwards. Can an NBA team really have enough of them?
