Why The Charlotte Hornets Do The Deal
Frankly, Crowder is a vastly different player from Bridges. Other than sharing a position, they have almost nothing in common.
Bridges is an aerial artist and a terror in transition. By contrast, Crowder is relatively ground-bound, and he’s not going to beat you with speed, either. With that said, he does have some advantages over Bridges.
For starters, he’s a more reliable floor-spacer. On the other hand, his biggest advantage comes on the defensive end. Bridges is passable there, but Crowder is one of the better defensive wings in the NBA.
Finally, Saric could be a nice depth piece for the Hornets as well. He provides floor-spacing and playmaking from the frontcourt which will be useful.
