The Philadelphia 76ers will be looking to even their record up at 1-1 tonight in their home opener against the Milwaukee Bucks. The 76ers took part in the NBA’s opening night on Tuesday, losing a hard-fought game to the Boston Celtics on the road.

Things won’t get any easier tonight, as the Bucks are one of the best teams in the Eastern Conference. Led by former MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo, Milwaukee is a tall task even with some of the injuries that they are dealing with.

Bench production will be key in this matchup. The 76ers second unit was badly outplayed by the Celtics in Game 1 and with key players missing, the Bucks are going to need some players to step up and produce off the bench.

Player props to keep tabs on in the betting front for the Bucks are Brook Lopez’s 3-pointers as an over and under points and assists for Jrue Holiday. The 76ers were strong last season defending point guards and it remained true in the season opener as Derrick White only had two points and four assists.

For the 76ers, over on 3-pointers made for the starters could be strong bets. Last season, Milwaukee was in the top four of 3-pointers allowed to point guards, small forwards, power forwards and centers. Returning virtually the same lineup, those trends could continue. Assists and rebounds for James Harden after his excellent season debut are something to keep an eye on as well.
