The Mavericks and Suns are both going to look a little different tonight than they did when they faced off in the postseason.

Each team is without a key contributor from that game as Jalen Brunson left the Mavericks in free agency for the New York Knicks and Jae Crowder is away from the Suns awaiting a trade.

Dallas’ ball-handling depth is very thin currently, as the recently signed Facundo Campazzo could be the backup point guard with Frank Ntilikina sidelined. The Mavericks are going to look to put pressure on the Suns’ frontcourt as they have a done of depth there even with Davis Bertans out and Maxi Kleber questionable.

There have been a lot of issues the Suns have had to deal with this season, so they will assuredly be happy about getting back on the floor. They have a chance to set the tone for the season with a statement game against the Mavericks.
