2. Phoenix Suns

This offseason has been a tough one for the Phoenix Suns. After being eliminated in the second round of the 2022 NBA postseason by the Dallas Mavericks, the front office failed to make any upgrades to the rotation.

Phoenix is bringing back the exact same rotation minus Jae Crowder, which is not ideal given the changes that other teams in the conference made. Depth was already an issue, so willingly allowing Crowder to hold out made very little sense.

While trading Crowder is their focus, they need to be on the lookout for pieces to add as well. With Cam Johnson set to enter the starting rotation, the team needs some help behind him with Crowder not part of the plans.

Cam Reddish would be a player worth taking a risk on. The Phoenix Suns have done an excellent job developing Mikal Bridges and Johnson and they could do the same with Reddish, who has more raw talent than either of them.

Reddish is capable of playing on the wing and both forward spots, providing the Phoenix Suns with the kind of versatility they love on their roster. He has all the tools to be an excellent 3-and-D player and would benefit from playing alongside a point guard such as Chris Paul.
