With that said, in theory, Mo Bamba is a player that can fit alongside anyone. 

When the Orlando Magic drafted him, that’s surely what they envisioned. As a big man who can space the floor and protect the rim, Bamba should be able to fit alongside anyone. 

In practice, that hasn’t necessarily been the case. At 24, Bamba is still more of an idea than an actual NBA player. At this point, it’s hard to say if he’ll ever make good on his potential. 

After all, Bamba is a willing three-point shooter, but he’s an inconsistent one. Moreover, he is a satisfactory rim protector, but he’s unable to defend in space.
