After all, Turner has been the subject of trade rumors for as long as we can remember. Recently, it appeared he may be escaping them.

When the Pacers traded Domantas Sabonis to the Sacramento Kings, many assumed that they’d selected Turner as their big man of the future. It appears as if they assumed incorrectly. 

This summer, the Pacers offered Deandre Ayton a max rookie extension. He was a restricted free agent and the Suns matched him.
