Trade Jordan Clarkson To Philadelphia 76ers
Utah Jazz Receive: G/F Matisse Thybulle, F/C Jock Landale, C Charles Bassey, F/C Paul Reed, G Isaiah Joe, G Jaden SpringerÂ
Phoenix Suns Receive: G Jordan ClarksonÂ
Philadelphia 76ers Receive: F Jae CrowderÂ
In some ways, it may feel like the Jazz are playing the role of facilitator here. They’re taking a lot back to ensure that the Suns and Sixers get their guys here. Is any of it worth their time?
That depends on who you ask. Granted, none of these guys are widely regarded as potential stars – if they were, the Jazz wouldn’t be able to trade Jordan Clarkson for them. Still, there could be some diamonds in this rough for a rebuilding team.
Matisse Thybulle is the most established player in this group. He’s already one of the best defensive wings in the NBA – if his three-pointer gets more consistent, he’ll be a clear-cut starter in this league. Otherwise, this is a hodgepodge of players for the Jazz – but who knows if any one of them could exceed their expectations?
Meanwhile, both of the contenders here get what they’re looking for. The Philadelphia 76ers could use one more strong defensive wing (who can shoot, that is, and Crowder could end up being the best on their roster.

Finally, the Suns need guard depth badly. Clarkson would be the perfect player to carry their second unit when Paul and Booker rest.Â
If either side can negotiate this deal, they shouldn’t hesitate.
