Every player in the NBA is talented. Often, fans tend to forget that when they discuss the league. 

After all, there are players in this league that some would call “bums”. Fans will openly claim that an NBA player “is not good”. Surely, they’re forgetting that the same player they just criticized would drop 100 points on their local rec league team without breaking a sweat. 

On the other hand, there are only 15 roster spots on an NBA team in the regular season. Moreover, all 15 of those players will not see regular floor time. Teams care about their depth, but past their 9th or 10th man, it doesn’t really matter who else is on the roster. 

With that said, a team’s sixth man still counts for a lot. Having a player who can carry your offense while the starters are resting will always hold value.
