2. Golden State Warriors

The Golden State Warriors just wrapped up winning their fourth title in the last eight years as their dynasty is back on track. As long as Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green are in the fold, this team will be competitive.

But, there will be some difficult questions to answer in the coming offseasons. While they would love to keep everyone, it just isn’t feasible. Ownership has shown they are willing to pay anything for a winning team, but even they have a line they cannot cross when it comes to finances.

The team has to decide what to do with Jordan Poole and Green this offseason, as both are eligible for extensions. Next summer, it will be Andrew Wiggins hitting unrestricted free agency and Thompson extension eligible.

If they need to shake things up, why not try and hit the redo button on the decision they made during the 2020 NBA Draft? With the No. 2 overall pick, the Golden State Warriors selected James Wiseman over Ball. That has proven to be the wrong choice as Ball has quickly turned into one of the best young point guards in the NBA.

While Curry has shown no signs of slowing down, Ball presents a much higher ceiling long-term than Poole. Adding Ball to this mix would make an already dominant offense reach video game status.

Imagine Ball throwing passes to Curry and Thompson behind the 3-point line? It would be a dizzying display of efficiency and highlights on a nightly basis.
