It’s been said before, but that’s only because all truisms have: Father Time is undefeated. Even professional athletes cannot escape his grasp. At times, it can be difficult to watch our favorite NBA players age of their primes.
On the other hand, it’s inevitable. NBA players can seem superhuman, but in all reality, they’re not different than us – and you’ll age out of your prime, too.
If you haven’t already, that is.
Granted, some players age more gracefully than others. In particular, players who rely on their athleticism typically drop off more suddenly in productivity. On the other hand, crafty point guards who rely on feel and skill can stay productive into their later years.
